\u00a0If we look back at modern history, we can trace several activities related to Slovak rally racing. At the end of the last century, it was the Martin-based company J.M. Martin that was behind the entry of a Nissan Micra mini car, driven by the Czech crew of Mikulenka and \u017d\u00farek, in the Slovak Republic Championship.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In 2004, another domestic company, AUTOALLES, sponsored the races of the Cserhalmi\u2013Kraj\u0148\u00e1k crew, who were among the top competitors in Slovak rallying at the time. And it was a resounding success, as the team, driving their Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII, claimed the title of overall Slovak Rally Champions in the final year-end standings. <\/div>\t\t\t

Also competing under the AUTOALLES banner during that period was a team from the club\u2019s own ranks\u2014Peter Michal\u00edk and R\u00f3bert Baran\u2014who, behind the wheel of a Honda Civic in the 2005 season, won the championship title in the N3 class (up to 2,000 cm\u00b3) and finished in an outstanding 6th place in the year-end overall standings.<\/div>\t\t\t

Last year's inaugural Martin Rally was marked by a truly unusual course of events. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Robert Kol\u010d\u00e1k\u2019s run in the competition came to an end as early as Friday\u2019s opening stage. He arrived at the time checkpoint in the service zone ahead of schedule, which is subject to a penalty. Overcome by negative emotions, the crew handed in their time card and did not continue in the competition. With the benefit of hindsight, they decided to continue in the competition during Saturday\u2019s stage after all. However, with a 10-minute penalty, a good result was no longer within reach. Another favored crew, the Melich\u00e1rek brothers, faced a similar fate. Fortunately, their penalty for the mix-up at the same time control was only 3 minutes. The Melich\u00e1rek brothers were subsequently the fastest in all special stages and managed to finish in 3rd place at the finish line. The awards for the top two spots in the overall standings went to the Czech Republic. The Odlo\u017eil\u00edk\u2013Persein crew won ahead of the Trn\u011bn\u00fd\u2013Pritzl crew; both competed in \u0160koda Fabia Rally2 cars.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    For the upcoming 2026 season, the organizers have managed to create an even more compact course than last year. The only thing that remained unchanged was the location of the service area at SIM Martin \u2013 Priekopa. Spectators will have the opportunity to get to know the top racing teams better at an autograph session, which will take place on Friday at the OC Gal\u00e9ria Martin shopping center. The official start and finish of the competition will be located on SNP Square in front of the OC Gal\u00e9ria shopping center. However, the main attraction of any car rally is the special stages, which take place on a closed course. Their total length is approximately 82 km, and they will be run across four sections.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Prvou je \u00faplne nov\u00e1 r\u00fdchlostn\u00e1 sk\u00fa\u0161ka AUTOALLES Nol\u010dovo – Podhradie s d\u013a\u017ekou 7,5 km. Ide o najmalebnej\u0161iu , ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 o naj\u0165a\u017e\u0161iu sk\u00fa\u0161ku , kde sa bude rozhodova\u0165 o celkovom porad\u00ed jednotliv\u00fdch tried. M\u00f4\u017ee sa uskuto\u010dni\u0165 iba v\u010faka pochopeniu a \u00fastretovosti ob\u010danov a miestnych samospr\u00e1v obc\u00ed Nol\u010dovo, Konsk\u00e9 a Podhradie. Po \u0161tarte v obci Nol\u010dovo sa nach\u00e1dza \u00fasek hne\u010f za \u0161tarom, ktor\u00fd m\u00e1 polookruhov\u00fd charakter a p\u00f4jde sa 2 x . Druhou r\u00fdchlostnou sk\u00fa\u0161kou je tra\u0165 medzi Su\u010danmi a Sklabi\u0148ou, ktor\u00e1 sa ide opa\u010dn\u00fdm smerom ako v piatok.     The urban speed trial in the heart of Martin, with its many turns of varying radii, will really put the brakes of the race cars to the test\u2014and we believe it will also get all the spectators in attendance fired up. Its final evening run will take place amid the unique atmosphere of a light and sound show, accompanied by the play of lights from the racing cars\u2019 light bars, brake discs glowing red-hot, sparks flying from the brake pads, and screeching tires during the crews\u2019 dramatic runs, which are sure to delight fans with more than a few drifts.\u00a0<\/p>

    On the contrary, the classic special stages of Sklabi\u0148a\u2013Su\u010dany and Nol\u010dovo\u2013Podhradie\u2014run on asphalt of varying characteristics and forming the core of the competition\u2014will test the crews\u2019 teamwork in an authentic natural environment that combines technical sections with heart-pounding fast stretches. The heart always beats a little faster when there are trees, meadows, or ditches in the immediate vicinity. The picturesque natural setting beneath the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra mountain range, where the Rally Martin routes are set, will certainly add to the photogenic appeal of the special stages. All crews, fans, and spectators are warmly welcome, and we believe that together we\u2019ll make the second edition of Rally Martin a staple of the Slovak racing calendar\u2014a place everyone will love to return to!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
